Rooted in the Alentejo Montado, the Sintropias project weaves together Art, Ecology and Time, placing the human within a relational system where coexistence, co-evolution, restraint and creation are living practices.
Time is essential matter here: slowness is cultivated as method and ethic, turning active slowness into thought and awareness.
Inspired by syntropic agriculture, Sintropias understands artistic creation as regeneration — an open process that learns from the territory and sees it as a living network. By crossing local knowledge with contemporary experimentation, it affirms an ethic of "making-with", celebrating a creation shared between the human and the more-than-human.
